how it all began...
I was gifted my first camera for Christmas when I was 6 years old. It was a Minolta 35mm film camera--and photography quickly became a favorite hobby of mine. By the time I was a teenager, I was saving up every penny, nickel and dime I made babysitting just to buy and develop film--mostly so that I could then enter my photography into exhibitions and contests.
I eventually got my first DSLR camera when I was 26, and once I started taking portraits of my children, friends started asking me to take theirs! Since then, photography has become so much more than just a hobby to me. I have now been in the industry as a professional off and on for a little over 15 years, and I just recently transitioned to full time. I love getting to set my own schedule, being able to travel and getting to know all of you!
I currently live in Pensacola, FL, but regularly travel to Texas & Colorado. I love road-tripping, and will basically go anywhere to take your photos!
